Looking for a performance home for Shortstop, a talented mare who is ready to take on the barrel racing world. I purchased her as an unbroken two-year-old and have put in countless hours of dry work and training to develop a solid foundation. Shortstop has been held back to be eligible for the 5-year-old futurities. I purchased this filly directly from Schiller Ranch for two reasons: her dam is none other than Insane for Fame, with lifetime earnings over $165,000, and her sire, Foose, with impressive earnings of 1.6 million on the racetrack. At approximately 15 hands tall, Shortstop is an extremely athletic mare with correct confirmation. She has been given the time to mature both mentally and physically and is now on track for the 2024 futurity season, with plans to start hauling in June. We are committed to finding Shortstop the perfect performance home where she can reach her full potential.
